Igor Butman will open the International Festival of Contemporary Culture “Kazan LIVE-2017”

(KZN.RU, August 11). The International Festival of Contemporary Culture “Kazan LIVE-2017” will be held on August 20 in Kazan.

The “Kazan LIVE” is a continuation of the festival “Kremlin LIVE”, loved by Kazan citizens, which was held in the capital of Tatarstan in recent years. The festival grew stronger and acquired many viewers, the number of which increased every year, reaching 40 thousand people. As a result, the organizers expanded its borders and made approaches to its main venues more accessible to viewers. This year, the festival goes beyond the Kazan Kremlin and is transferred to a large square in front of the Palace of Cultivators.

Several sites will be open from 10 am at the festival “Kazan LIVE”, where concerts, master classes, theatrical productions, exhibitions, and creative meetings will take place.

The music program includes jazz, rock, hip-hop, electronic music. The performance of Igor Butman, the president of the festival, the People's Artist of Russia, and the popular jazzman, in a special festival program with the Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra of the RT will be a great gift to the audience.

The program of the festival also includes performances by artists from Russia, Georgia, and Israel. The band “Zventa sventana” (the founder and vocalist is Khristina (Tina) Kuznetsova, a singer, finalist of the show “The Voice” on the “Channel One Russia”, born in Kazan, and sound producer of the group is Yuri Usachev, a musician, author of the project “Guests from the Future”) , the vocal group of the ensemble “Rustavi” (Georgia), and Georgian singer Nino Basharuli, future folk-project “ALMA” (Russia-Israel), and others are among them.

The entrance to the festival is free, reports to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the RT.
